Do we spend ( translate waste) so much time setting up our devices, organising and viewing social media that if we measured it in hours it is huge $$$ invested every week. How often do you set up a new phone, iPad, computer, home hub, pebble watch, printer, wifi, router etc and download all the latest and greatest apps, set up cloud storage with apple, drop box and google plus. Get photos organised in folders. The list goes on and on. We spend hours and hours and this set up time is now a challenging pastime to get everything working. Forget the time we take to interact on Facebook, pinterest, twitter, linked in, google plus, amazon and getting rid of spam……that in itself is another block of weekly time.
So all this time we now spend on device organisation is not recoverable, chargeable and often we need to pay others to help . I’ve worked out I can spend 10 hours a week easily on setting up and maintaining my gadgets, which means either my work is suffering, my leisure time or my sleep. So think about it …the time we spend on set up plus the time we spend on using social media is either time wasted or becomes a hobby. – if i was paid for my 10 hours a week spent on set up, in 1.5 years I would have a despot to buy an investment factory unit ( live and work) in takanini see www.eqgroup.co.nz. Takanini Central.
Therefore time spent on gadget setting up is time not spent earning, or getting out and enjoying spring!
